Theme

The theme of Summit 2019 TBA:

1 Peter 3:15-16 (ESV)

15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, 16 having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.

We ask all of our participants to prepare their competition pieces centered on this theme verse. You will find a list of more verses here on our theme page.

Four divisions in Fine Arts competitions:

  • Musical: Piano, Instrumental, and Vocal
  • Non-musical: Public Speaking and Expressive Arts
  • Visual Arts: Photography/Digital, Painting/Drawing, and 3-D (other)
  • Creative Writing
